Compensation & Hours:
• The rate of pay will be $50-55K/year, based on experience
• Monday through Friday, daytime hours
Position Summary:
• Provide day-to-day administrative support across all areas of Human Resources
• Coordinate recruitment activities, including job postings, applicant tracking, interview scheduling, and onboarding
• Maintain employee files and ensure HR records are accurate and confidential
• Assist with employee communications, policies, and HR documentation
• Support payroll and benefits administration processes as required
• Coordinate training records, certifications, and employee programs
• Assist with HR reporting, data entry, and process improvements
• Identify challenges proactively and develop practical, effective solutions in a fast-paced environment
• Support various projects and initiatives as the organization continues to grow and evolve
Required Qualifications:
• Minimum 2+ years of administrative experience in an HR environment
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and work independently
• Highly motivated, self-directed, and able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• High level of professionalism and ability to maintain confidentiality
• Ability to adapt quickly and thrive in a busy, growth-oriented environment
Bonus Points For:
• Diploma or post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
• CPHR designation or working toward designation
• Experience supporting HR functions within manufacturing, construction, or industrial environments
• Experience with payroll administration and employee benefits
• Proven track record of improving processes and implementing efficiencies
