• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of experience with full stack development using Java or Kotlin.
• 2 years of experience with Android application development.
• Experience in computer science, data structures, algorithms and software design.

Preferred qualifications:

• Master’s degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
• 8 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
• 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role leading project teams and setting technical direction.
• 3 years of experience working in a structured organization involving cross-functional, or cross-business projects.
• Ability to quickly prototype and iterate on new ideas, moving fast from concept to product delivery while meeting high delivery standards.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Canada: $150000 - $154000 (CAD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits

• Write product or system development code.
• Contribute to existing documentation or educational content and adapt content based on product/program updates and user feedback.
• Design, build, and iterate on Android-stack software projects.
• Maintain strong communication and collaboration with cross-functional partners (e.g., Product Management, UX Design) and other development teams to ensure project alignment and successful delivery.
• Utilize strong debugging and troubleshooting skills to quickly diagnose and resolve technical issues in a distributed system environment.
