Job description
Lead aerospace advancements at Bombardier as the Section Chief for Avionics Systems. Your managerial finesse and engineering knowledge will be key in delivering high-quality aircraft solutions. As the Avionics Engineering Manager, you will manage a team of specialists while driving the recruitment and performance processes. At Bombardier, fostering a positive working atmosphere and ensuring effective distribution of engineering tasks will be pivotal in your role. You will also contribute to financial planning and identify opportunities for cost reduction. Key Responsibilities: • Lead and manage team of Avionics Systems Specialists • Establish and evaluate employee objectives and performance • Promote a healthy work environment through communication • Ensure adequate resources for aircraft development • Participate in budget management and identify cost-saving solutions Requirements: • Degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering • Over 10 years in aerospace, focused on Avionics • 2-3 years of management experience with direct reports • Knowledge of Change and Configuration Management • Bilingual English and French proficiency Utilize your expertise in aviation and leadership to impact Bombardier's future achievements. #J-18808-Ljbffr
