This position is in‑person and located in the charming town of St. Thomas ON. This is an 8 montn co‑op role for a Canadian Co‑op program.

What You Bring To The Team

  • Assist in tracking project timelines, deliverables, and equipment readiness for installation and commissioning.
  • Assist preparing summary reports, presentations, and status updates for internal stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including engineering, quality, logistics, and automation.
  • Learn and apply industry standards and internal procedures related to equipment and process planning.
  • Collect and organize planning level data for capacity analysis.
  • Perform capacity and throughput calculations.
  • Build high‑level models using simulation software.
  • Run basic scenario analyses (e.g. changes in cycle time, OEE, buffer sizes).

What Makes You Stand Out

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Materials, or Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
  • Interest in advanced manufacturing, industrial engineering, or production planning.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); familiarity with data analysis tools is an asset.
  • Basic understanding of technical drawings, process flows, or equipment layouts (CAD exposure is a plus).
  • Ability to work collaboratively in cross‑functional teams and communicate clearly.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Willingness to learn new tools, processes, and documentation standards.
  • Self‑driven, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced, evolving project environment.
  • Preferred Qualifications in Battery Cell Research or Internship.
  • Familiarity with simulation tools is an asset.

What To Look Forward To

  • Attractive remuneration: The expected hourly wage for this position is $27/ hour.
  • Opportunities to participate in exciting company events that give back to the community.

We are committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. Our compensation is determined based on a combination of factors including but not limited to relevant years of experience, education, and alignment with the responsibilities and qualifications outlined in the job description.
