Job Description

We are a Clinical Research Organization. There are animal living quarters on site that must be maintained and cleaned.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning and janitorial duties within the facility.
• Assist with animal husbandry tasks as required.
• Operate in a fast-paced environment, ensuring cleanliness and maintenance standards are upheld.
• Handle tasks involving lifting up to 15 lbs, standing, bending, and crouching.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in English.
• Ability to lift up to 15 lbs.
• Experience in cleaning and janitorial work.
• Capability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in animal husbandry.
• Drive and motivation to work as a kennel attendant.

Work Environment

The facility operates on two shifts: Sunday to Thursday, 8am to 5pm with a one-hour unpaid lunch; Tuesday to Saturday, 8am to 5pm with a one-hour unpaid lunch. The work environment is dynamic and involves handling animals and maintaining cleanliness standards.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fergus, ON.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.12 - $19.12/hr.
