Job description
Shape the future of seller experiences at eBay as the Senior Manager Data and Intelligence. Drive innovation through machine learning and data engineering excellence. In this crucial role, you will lead a team of ML engineers and data specialists within eBay's dynamic Selling Engineering organization. Your focus will be on developing robust data systems that empower sellers by providing actionable insights and enhancing operational efficiency. Participate hands-on in system design while mentoring your team towards achieving excellence in data and AI applications. Key Responsibilities: • Lead a team of 8–12 engineers to enhance seller data products • Own the ML roadmap and drive product execution across the team • Engage in design reviews and technical contributions actively • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to align goals Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or similar • Over 12 years of experience in software engineering • 4+ years managing cross-functional teams in tech environments • Extensive knowledge of data systems and the ML lifecycle • Exceptional skills in communication and project management Contribute to eBay’s mission of empowering sellers through innovative data and AI solutions. #J-18808-Ljbffr
