Job description
Join St. George on Yonge as a Volunteer Community Gardening Team Leader in Toronto. Manage enthusiastic volunteer teams and cultivate a vibrant garden space throughout the 2026 growing season. In this role, you’ll lead teams in preparing soil, planting, and maintaining gardens, making a significant impact in the community. With a flexible schedule starting in April, you can select shifts and engage in activities that promote environmental sustainability and connect with others. Key Responsibilities: • Lead volunteer teams in garden preparation and care • Mentor and support individuals of all skill levels • Manage tools and supplies efficiently in garden settings • Encourage environmentally friendly gardening practices Requirements: • Background or interest in gardening and urban agriculture • Enthusiasm for guiding and supporting volunteers • Commitment to community service initiatives • Comfort working outdoors in varying weather Lead efforts towards community beautification and sustainability while enjoying a fulfilling volunteering experience at St. George on Yonge. #J-18808-Ljbffr
