Job description
Join AXA XL as a Senior Alternative Risk Solutions Underwriter specializing in Captive Fronting in Canada. Leverage your underwriting skills to collaborate on complex insurance solutions. This pivotal role involves engaging with Distribution and internal teams to pursue and structure Captive Fronting opportunities. As a technical expert, you will influence key decisions and ensure compliance while maintaining valuable relationships in the industry. Your contributions will also focus on generating new business and educational outreach to support cross-selling initiatives. Key Responsibilities: • Identify Captive opportunities through client marketing • Structure and negotiate reinsurance terms confidently • Participate in pitch presentations and proposal development • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations • Support the underwriting process throughout Requirements: • Moderate experience negotiating complex programs • Strong understanding of Captive concepts and governance • Degree or relevant professional qualification • Proven ability to communicate with high-level stakeholders • Ability and readiness to travel 25-30% Use your expertise to elevate AXA XL's reputation in alternative risk solutions and Captive management. #J-18808-Ljbffr
