Job description
Become the Associate Director of Development at the University of Waterloo, focusing on fundraising for the Faculty of Engineering. Utilize your professional fundraising skills to enhance donor engagement and stewardship. In this role, you will implement and evaluate fundraising strategies tailored to major gift prospects. Your direct involvement with senior leadership and your understanding of the university’s priorities will be crucial for success. You will guide a team of development officers and foster important relationships within the academic and philanthropic communities. Key Responsibilities: • Manage major gift fundraising programs effectively • Support special projects and annual fund initiatives • Cultivate relationships with major donors • Lead a team of three fundraising professionals • Develop stewardship strategies for donor engagement Requirements: • Relevant university degree and experience • 8+ years in progressive fundraising roles • Strong strategic and interpersonal skills • Familiarity with CRM tools like Raiser’s Edge • Effective communication and planning abilities Harness your fundraising expertise to contribute meaningfully at the University of Waterloo's Faculty of Engineering. #J-18808-Ljbffr
