Position: Full TimeSecurity Guard
Site: Seneca Polytechnic - King Campus
Averaging Agreement: Overtime is Averaging Agreement (AA) after 88 hours
Hours: Rotating Continental (0700 - 1900 / 1900 - 0700)

Key Responsibilities
- Proactive patrols across academic buildings and grounds
- Responding to medical and safety incidents with empathy and professionalism
- Supporting residence and community event safety
- Liaising with municipal parks authorities and provincial bodies for maintaining trail safety
- Enforcing fishing and forestry safety.
- Working closely with supervised farm animals, pets and wildlife (beavers, foxes,
- coyotes, etc.)
- Managing lost and found, parking, and access
- Collaborating with staff and local emergency responders
Qualifications
- Ontario Security Guard License
- Standard First Aid and CPR Level C from a WSIB-approved provider
- Strong communication skills and an upbeat, professional attitude
- Ability to handle fast-paced, diverse campus demands
- Outdoor adventure seeker
- Prior post-secondary or healthcare security experience an asset
- Must not be a current Seneca student at King Campus
- Legally authorized to work in Canada
- Must be able to provide certifications in Use of Force (UOF) and Management of Aggressive Behavior (MOAB)
- Applicants lacking these certifications can opt into Paladin's UoF/MOAB certification program prior to their onboarding training
- Please be aware: The UoF/MOAB certification is not paid as it is a pre-requisite; however, Paladin will cover all of the costs of the training with a 6-month commitment to the position/availability
