As an ISV Account Manager at Amazon Web Services (AWS), you will have the exciting opportunity to help drive the growth and shape the future of an emerging technology. Your responsibilities will include driving revenue, adoption, and market penetration in enterprise accounts. The ideal candidate will possess both a sales and technical background that enables them to drive an engagement at the CXO level as well as with software developers and IT architects.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive revenue and market share in a defined territory or industry vertical
- Meet or exceed quarterly revenue targets
- Develop and execute against a comprehensive account/territory plan
- Create and articulate compelling value propositions around AWS services
- Accelerate customer adoption
- Maintain a robust sales pipeline
- Work with partners to extend reach and drive adoption
- Manage contract negotiations
- Develop long-term strategic relationships with key accounts
Basic Requirements
- 10+ years of business development, partner development, sales or alliances management experience
- 7+ years of direct sales or business development in software, cloud or SaaS markets selling to C-level executives
- Experience identifying, developing, negotiating, and closing large-scale technology deals
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with AWS and technology as a service (IaaS, SaaS, PaaS)
- Experience working within a high-growth, technology company
Compensation & Benefits
Base salary range: $123,600 – $206,300 CAD annually. Total compensation may include sign-on payments, RSUs, and sales incentives. Benefits include health insurance (medical, dental, vision, prescription, basic life and AD&D), RRSP, DPSP, paid time off, and flexible work arrangements.
