Family Lawyer
Job description
Our client is a leading multi-service firm, and they are looking for an experienced family lawyer to join their family group in Mississauga. The successful candidate will have 4+ years of family law experience and take pride in their work while understanding the importance of exceptional client service.
What you will need to succeed
To be considered for this position, you must have a minimum of 4 years of experience in a law firm dealing with Family Law matters. You will work on building your own practice while expertly serving sophisticated, high-net-worth clients with Family Law matters involving support, property, and parenting issues. You must also have excellent knowledge and understanding of matters related to contested divorces, custody and access disputes, child and spousal support, as well as property and equalization of net family property. You will also require experience in the division of assets and finances.
In this new role, you must be able to work independently or under the direction of senior lawyers as part of an established and growing team. You should have excellent analytical and communication skills, and appreciate the importance of providing outstanding, cost-effective, and responsive legal services to clients. In this role, you will also require an entrepreneurial spirit, and must possess strong academic credentials and exceptional communication/client management skills.
Must be a member of the Ontario Bar in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario. Other key success factors include a superior work ethic, self-motivation, and attention to detail as they are essential.
