Department Overview

Branch & Infrastructure Technology Solutions in Servicing & Digital Enablement Platform is a critical part of the bank providing technology solutions for Canadian Personal Banking. You will be part of PB Infrastructure Engineering team focusing on delivering various hardware initiatives for our Canadian Branches.

Job Accountabilities – What You'll Do

You are accountable for direct or indirect day to day management of a team of IT professionals (including both permanent and contract resources) in supporting assigned business clients / internal partners / stakeholder needs and requirements. You will be involved in negotiating technology costs and scope in forecasting, planning process with subset of business clients within a key technology Functional area.

Expectation will include:

• Identify opportunities, pro-active proposals/ideas to produce cost savings and/or modernize the infrastructure.

• Annual financial planning.

• Support and guidance on in-flight projects and planning of new initiatives.

• Knowledge transfer to/from team members.

• Identify opportunities to reduce expenses.

• Build relationships with the business and our other TD partners.

Where You'll Work

After completing in-person training and on-boarding sessions, you’ll work primarily onsite in Mississauga (Creekside). Your remaining time will be spent at a TD location for in-person team events and experiences. The hiring manager will provide more information about how this works for their team.

Job Requirements – What you need to Succeed

• Undergraduate Degree or Technical Certificate.
• 7-10 years relevant experience managing IT professionals, stakeholders, and technology project oversite.
• Experience in the Canadian retail banking environment, financial services or customer‑focused service industries
• Extensive understanding of networks and switches,
• Windows servers knowledge
• Commitment to staying abreast of industry and business trends.
• Readiness to serve as a technology, trends and processes "go-to" resource.
• Ability to work with stakeholders to run initiatives, configure, upgrade and administer business applications and systems of moderate to high complexity, under minimal management supervision.
• Strong ability to perform problem determination, including data gathering and analysis.
• Great comfort-level acting as a reference for team or clients.
