Job descriptionJob Posting: Household Manager & Nanny (Part-Time) Location: Hamilton, Ontario Start Date: September 2026 Schedule: Monday–Friday, 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM/7:00 PM About Our Family We are a busy, active family looking for a proactive, organized, and reliable individual to join our team as a Household Manager and Nanny. We have two children—Daughter 7, Son 5—who are involved in various competitive activities and extracurriculars. We are looking for someone who can step into the role of a "trusted partner" to manage the day-to-day operations of our household, ensuring the children are supported, nourished, and always prepared for their next commitment. The Role This is not a traditional childcare-only role; it is a blend of dedicated child supervision and operational support. We need someone who anticipates needs before they arise—the person who notices the craft supplies are disorganized, keeps track of school/activity deadlines, and ensures the "mom errands" that keep our household running smoothly are checked off the list. Key Responsibilities Childcare & Logistics Activity Management: Coordinating schedules and providing reliable transport to and from gymnastics, Jiu Jitsu, swimming, and baseball. Nutritional Support: Planning and preparing healthy after-school snacks and meals. Supportive Presence: Providing a warm, engaging, and structured environment for the kids when they return from school or activities. Household Management & "Mom Errands" Organization: Maintaining order in kids’ play areas, rotating toys, and organizing seasonal items (e.g., managing Holiday purchases, sports equipment, and seasonal clothing transitions). Errand Running: Managing household errands such as grocery pickups, returns, or dry cleaning. Proactive Oversight: Keeping the household running efficiently—this includes restocking household supplies, managing family logistics, and tackling those "random" tasks that require a keen eye and organizational skill. What We Are Looking For Intuitive & Proactive: You don’t need a checklist for everything; you see a need and handle it. Extremely Organized: You have a natural gift for categorization and maintaining systems (toys, gear, seasonal items). Reliable & Safe: A clean driving record and a high level of responsibility are required for transporting our children. Experience: Previous experience in childcare & household management or executive assisting is highly valued. The "Mom" Mindset: You approach tasks with the same care and foresight that a parent does, treating our family’s needs as your own. Requirements Valid driver’s license and clean driving record. Current First Aid/CPR certification. Ability to pass a background check and provide professional references. Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently. To Apply Please send a message with a brief summary of your experience managing similar household/logistics responsibilities. We look forward to hearing how you can help bring order and calm to our family’s schedule.
