The General Help/Driver person is responsible for transporting goods by van or carts etc to various locations on and off campus (catering purposes only). They are responsible for inspecting their delivery vehicle, verifying lists, and loading and unloading goods to be transported.
The delivery person is also responsible for keeping detailed records of their deliveries, including but not limited to temperature checks, transfer paperwork. The delivery person will be responsible to notify the manager/supervisor on duty when product has arrived at the location and ensure a signature from the manager/supervisor as proof of product received.

• Demonstrates an understanding of basic sanitation procedures
• Must be able to follow basic safety procedures due to exposure to hazardous chemicals
• Must be available to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Please be advised, employment is conditional upon providing a valid Ontario Class G class driver's licence and a satisfactory 3-Year Driver's Abstract.
