Job Title: Service & Warranty Technician

Job Type: Full Time

Location: Okotoks and Calgary

Reports To: Customer Care Manager

Our Company

For over 25 years, Partners Development Group Ltd. has been building thoughtfully planned communities in the Calgary and Okotoks areas designed to encourage healthy living and enhance family well-being. As a company, we pride ourselves on our strong culture based on family values, teamwork, and giving back to the communities in which we work and live. Through our multi-family, commercial, leasing and land development business units, we develop thriving communities where people from all backgrounds build better lives.

Position Overview

We are looking for a Service & Warranty Technician to join our team and ensure that every home we build meets and exceeds homeowner expectations after construction is complete. This role is perfect for a hands-on problem solver with a keen eye for detail and a strong customer service mindset. You’ll be responsible for conducting inspections, performing maintenance, and resolving warranty-related issues with efficiency and professionalism. As a key point of contact for homeowners, you’ll work closely with trade partners and internal teams to deliver smooth, high-quality service experience. If you take pride in your craftsmanship, enjoy troubleshooting, and thrive on providing exceptional customer care, this could be the perfect role for you!

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct inspections and repairs related to truss movement, ductwork, and general home maintenance.

  • Perform routine maintenance on mechanical systems such as tankless water heaters and AHU systems (training provided).

  • Manage painting, drywall, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC repairs as required.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for homeowners regarding warranty claims and service requests.

  • Schedule, coordinate, and oversee warranty-related repairs with trade partners.

  • Maintain accurate records of service requests, repairs, and homeowner communications using company software.

  • Communicate with homeowners, trade partners, and internal teams to resolve issues professionally.

  • Educate homeowners on warranty coverage and maintenance best practices.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in construction, home maintenance, or service-related roles, preferably in residential homebuilding.

  • Strong working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.

  • Proficiency with hand and power tools for general home repairs.

  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.

  • Valid driver’s license.

  • Physical ability to climb ladders, lift heavy objects, and work in confined spaces (attics, crawl spaces, etc.).

  • Knowledge of local building codes and regulations.

Additional Requirements

  • You love a job where you can see the direct impact of your skills – Every repair and homeowner interaction is an opportunity to make someone’s day better.

  • You’re a great teacher – Whether explaining a simple maintenance tip or breaking down a warranty repair, you enjoy sharing knowledge in a way that homeowners understand and appreciate.

  • You can prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.

  • You’re comfortable using technology—whether it’s a computer, smartphone, or tablet, you can efficiently handle work orders, scheduling, and documentation with ease.

  • You don’t need a big team around you to stay motivated and productive.

Working Conditions

  • This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday.

  • Work location will vary based on operational needs in the Okotoks and Calgary areas.

  • Role involves travel between job sites and homeowner locations.

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary and benefits package.

  • Performance-based bonus program.

  • Comprehensive training on industry-specific maintenance and repair techniques.

  • Supportive team environment with opportunities for professional growth.

  • Company vehicle and tools provided for job-related tasks.

Benefit Package includes

  • Employer paid extended Health, vision, and dental coverage

  • Health spending account

  • Employee & family assistance program (EFAP)

  • Life insurance

  • Out of country emergency medical

Please note, only those candidates chosen to continue through the selection process will be contacted.
