POSITION DESCRIPTION:

Valsoft is seeking a detail-oriented and driven Senior Financial Analyst, Financial Reporting to join our Corporate Finance team in Montreal. Reporting to the Manager - Financial Reporting and Consolidation , you will play a key role in the period-end close process, preparation of consolidated financial statements, and external financial reporting. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional corporate teams to deliver accurate and timely financial information that supports strategic decision-making. This role is ideal for a finance professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and is passionate about financial reporting, compliance, and continuous process improvement.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Support the end-to-end consolidation process across multiple entities and currencies.

• Prepare quarterly consolidated financial statements and supporting schedules for external reporting.

• Perform comprehensive reviews of P&L, balance sheets, and cash flow movements for financial statement preparation and external auditors.

• Maintain strong financial controls over month-end closing procedures in accordance with the financial reporting framework.

• Prepare ratio analyses and compute financial covenants for compliance requirements.

• Identify inefficiencies in existing processes and proactively recommend solutions to management.

• Participate in special projects and perform other related duties as assigned.

REQUIRED/MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.

• CPA designation or actively pursuing the CPA designation.

• 1–3 years of experience in financial reporting, preferably within a multi-entity and multi-currency environment, with exposure to audit activities considered an asset.

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems; experience with Oracle FCCS, NetSuite, and data visualization tools is considered a strong asset, along with excellent analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

DESCRIPTION DU POSTE :

Valsoft est à la recherche d’un(e) Analyste principal(e), information financière rigoureux(se) et motivé(e) pour joindre son équipe des finances corporatives à Montréal. Relevant du Gestionnaire – Information financière et consolidation ,vous jouerez un rôle essentiel dans les activités de clôture financière, la préparation des états financiers consolidés et les rapports destinés aux parties externes. Vous travaillerez en étroite collaboration avec plusieurs équipes afin de produire une information financière exacte, fiable et en temps opportun qui soutient les décisions stratégiques de l’entreprise. Ce poste convient parfaitement à une personne passionnée par l’information financière, la conformité et l’amélioration continue des processus.

RESPONSABILITÉS PRINCIPALES :

• Soutenir le processus complet de consolidation financière pour plusieurs entités et devises.

• Préparer les états financiers consolidés trimestriels ainsi que les annexes de soutien destinées aux rapports externes.

• Effectuer des analyses approfondies des états des résultats, des bilans et des flux de trésorerie pour la préparation des états financiers et les vérifications externes.

• Maintenir de solides contrôles financiers dans le cadre des activités de clôture de fin de mois, conformément au cadre d’information financière.

• Préparer des analyses de ratios financiers et calculer les clauses restrictives financières afin d’assurer le respect des exigences de conformité.

• Repérer les inefficacités dans les processus existants et recommander de manière proactive des solutions à la direction.

• Participer à des projets spéciaux et accomplir toute autre tâche connexe, au besoin.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUISES / MINIMALES :

• Baccalauréat en comptabilité.

• Titre CPA obtenu ou en voie d’obtention.

• De 1 à 3 ans d’expérience en information financière, idéalement dans un environnement comportant plusieurs entités et plusieurs devises; une expérience liée aux audits constitue un atout.

• Excellente maîtrise de Microsoft Excel et des systèmes ERP; une expérience avec Oracle FCCS, NetSuite et les outils de visualisation de données est un atout important, combinée à d’excellentes aptitudes analytiques, organisationnelles, de communication et de résolution de problèmes.
