:Development and refinement of listening and speaking skills as a basis for oral communication in the university workplace. Introduction to critical listening. Practice in note-taking. Production of extended oral discourse. Use of formal and informal registers. Refinement of vocabulary and grammar use and pronunciation skills.

B.A. with specialization in a field relevant to the teaching of L2 English or Higher Certificate in L2 English Teaching. Two years of experience teaching ESL at the college and/or university level. Previous experience teaching this course or an equivalent ESL course. Experience with heterogeneous group.
An acceptable level of education/experience may be considered equivalent to the required training and/or demonstrated experience.
