Hourly Rate:
AE-RA-Tuteur / TA-RA-Tutor : $31.89 ou/or $50.25 (2024-2025)
The academic year starts on September 1 and ends on August 31.
Undergraduate students will be paid at the lower rate; while graduate students will be paid at the higher rate.
These rates do not included vacation pay nor statutory pay.
These rates will be applied until a new collective agreement is ratified. Retro will be paid after the ratification.

Requirements and Nature of Work:
Nature of Work
Lab tutorials, Support labs, assist the professor in evaluation of lab reports and assignments. Proctoring exams.
Minimum qualifications
Strong understanding of Business Data Mining
Ability to apply grading rubrics and provide clear, structured feedback
Ability to meet strict deadlines and manage workload efficiently
Minimum C.G.P.A. of 7.0;
Minimum grade of A in ADM 3308 or an equivalent course in Data Mining and Machine Learning;
Solid experience with IBM SPSS Modeler software application.
Good English communications skills.
Experience with online course delivery considered an asset
Experience with online videoconferencing environment considered an asset (ex. Microsoft Teams)

Candidates on short list may be interviewed by course professor/coordinator.
Please note that the posted hours could be increased by 10% to 30% due to registration.
Candidates on short list may be required to write a test.
Please note should the course will be online, you will be required to have access to a computer, internet, microphone and webcam.
Contract hours may be reallocated among different tasks, which the professor may adjust over the course of the semester.
Must be located in Ottawa for the entire duration of the course (with the exception of official University holidays), including through the grading of the final exam and calculation of final grades by the professor.
