Reports to: RRLIP Project Manager

Terms of Employment: Fixed Term until September 30, 2026 with the possibility of extension

Start Date: July 13, 2026

Closing Date: July 3, 2026

The Regina Region Local Immigration Partnership (RRLIP) launched in 2014. Local Immigration Partnerships exist to strengthen and support the community's capacity to welcome, settle and integrate newcomers. Since 2014, the RRLIP, and its primary partners, have worked tirelessly to support the local community's settlement and integration efforts. The RRLIP builds on existing The RRLIPs host agency is Regina Open Door Society Inc. The closing date for this position is July 3, 2026.

Mission: The Regina Region Local Immigration Partnership (RRLIP) and its member organizations will educate, collaborate, and collaborate for the benefit of newcomers in Regina.

About the Candidate: The successful candidate for the Community Partnership and Engagement Coordinator will hold a minimum of a bachelor's degree in social sciences/ community development (or related education/experience) and have extensive (5 + years) experience/knowledge in:

  • community development and community capacity building strategies
  • working cooperatively in a team-oriented, cross-cultural setting
  • coordination and planning of multi-stakeholder events
  • research, data analysis and reporting
  • measurement, evaluation, and communication of project impacts
  • the local context - community programs, resources, and services available for newcomer populations
  • utilizing computers and technology efficiently

Continuous learning and a possible future leadership role at a senior level will motivate the successful candidate.

Role Requirements: The successful candidate will provide project support, with special attention to:

  • Build and/or maintain community collaborations/partnerships to identify gaps and needed support
  • Foster relationships between stakeholders to achieve enhanced capacity to welcome, settle and integrate newcomers
  • Attend community tables to provide the RRLIPs input, foster collaboration, and identify needed support, etc.
  • Organize and facilitate community forums, workshops, and events to promote dialogue and collaboration among stakeholders.
  • Act as a liaison between RRLIP and community organizations to ensure effective communication and partnership
  • Maintain a database of community partners and stakeholders, ensuring regular communication and updates.
  • Coordinate and support the implementation of RRLIP's programs and initiatives, ensuring alignment with the organization's goals and objectives.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of community engagement activities and partnerships, providing regular reports to RRLIP Manager.
  • Develop and administer Newcomer Survey to determine local priorities for enhanced settlement and integration outcomes, and to support community partners in their efforts, etc.
  • Assist the RRLIP Manager and Assistant Manager in writing grant applications and other funding proposal.
  • Assist the RRLIP Manager in writing meeting notes, event's report, and project monthly and annual reports.
  • Develop and distribute outreach materials to raise awareness of RRLIP's programs and services.
  • Represent RRLIP at community meetings, events, and conferences to promote the organization's mission and objectives.
  • Other position-related duties, as assigned.

Annual Salary Level:

Your annual salary is $47,072.32 (26.82 hourly) at step one of RODS' Admin 2 category. There is a cost shared benefits package and 3% employer contribution to Saskatchewan Pension Plan available following the successful completion of a three-month probationary period. Pay periods are the end of day on the 15th of the month and the end of each month.

Working Hours and Conditions:

RRLIP Project staff currently work from home. When not connecting virtually with community partners, RRLIP team members travel within the city of Regina to connect with, consult and support project stakeholders.

The standard hours of work will be based on 67.5 hours per two week rotation from 8:15 am -4:00 pm, Monday to Friday, with a one hour unpaid lunch break. Flexibility is sometimes required to meet project outputs, targets, and outcomes.
