Job description
Quality Inspector / CMM Programmer – Precision CNC MachiningLocation: Mississauga, ON
Pay: $27.00 – $30.00/hour + $1.50 Shift Premium Shift Options:
  • Afternoon Shift: Monday–Thursday, 3:00 PM – 12:40 AM (Fridays Off)
  • Continental Weekend Shift: Friday–Sunday, 11:00 AM – 11:00 PM (32 hours worked, paid for 40)
Eligibility: Permanent Resident or Canadian Citizen Required We are recruiting for an experienced Quality Inspector / CMM Programmer for a precision CNC machining manufacturer supporting aerospace, nuclear, and medical device industries. We are seeking candidates with direct experience in precision machining environments involving tight-tolerance inspection and hands-on CMM programming. Applicants must come from precision machining, aerospace, medical device, nuclear, or other high-precision manufacturing environments. What’s in it for you

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform First-Off, In-Process, and Final Inspections on machined components
  • Program, operate, and validate CMM inspection programs
  • Inspect precision CNC machined components to tight tolerances
  • Use CMM equipment, vision systems, and precision measuring instruments
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T
  • Identify non-conformances and support corrective actions
  • Maintain accurate inspection records and documentation
  • Support root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Work closely with Production, Engineering, and Quality teams
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years of Quality Inspection experience in a precision machining environment
  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on CMM programming and operation experience
  • Must have experience in one or more of the following industries:
  • Aerospace manufacturing Medical device manufacturing Nuclear manufacturing High-precision CNC machining
  • Strong understanding of CNC machining processes and tight-tolerance inspection
  • Strong knowledge of GD&T
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation
  • Experience with precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, height gauges, bore gauges, indicators)
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills
CMM Programming (Strong Asset)
  • Experience with PC-DMIS, Calypso, MCOSMOS, MODUS, or similar software
  • Experience creating, editing, and validating CMM programs
