Job description
Join Passage as the Director of Finance in Toronto, where you will take full ownership of the financial function while focusing on building efficiency and compliance. This in-office role is essential for scaling operations. As Director of Finance, you'll be responsible for all accounting and financial reporting aspects while ensuring the company's financial foundation is solid during rapid growth. You will manage key processes such as the month-end close, audit management, tax compliance, and the overall integrity of financial data. Your leadership will support robust financial governance and reporting necessary for strategic decision-making. Key Responsibilities: • Oversee monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial closes • Lead the entire external audit process • Prepare IFRS-compliant financial statements • Create scalable financial processes and workflows • Ensure accurate tax filings and compliance oversight Requirements: • CPA certification required; 8-12 years of progressive accounting • Managerial audit experience, particularly with Big 4 • Prior experience as a Controller in a startup environment • Strong capability in scaling accounting operations • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced atmosphere Implement your finance leadership to guide Passage towards continued growth! #J-18808-Ljbffr
