Le ou la spécialiste de la formation et du développement des ventes est responsable de la création, de la sélection, du partage et de la mise à jour de contenus de formation destinés aux associés aux ventes au détail, tout en agissant comme ressource principale pour les autres fonctions au sein de Whirlpool Canada. Ce poste vise à maximiser les ventes, à générer des revenus et à accroître la fidélité à la marque grâce à la mise en œuvre de programmes de formation exceptionnels auprès des partenaires commerciaux de Whirlpool, des influenceurs clés et des partenaires internes.

Vos responsabilités

  • Prestation de la formation sur les produits : Offrir une formation complète sur les produits aux partenaires commerciaux d’électroménagers de Whirlpool, aux partenaires internes et aux influenceurs clés afin de les sensibiliser aux caractéristiques des produits et aux avantages pour les consommateurs.

  • Création de contenu : Créer du contenu de formation attrayant et opportun à l’aide de divers logiciels et outils, en veillant à ce que toutes les informations reflètent l’état actuel du marché et les initiatives de lancement de la marque.

  • Exécution d'événements : Diriger, animer et participer à divers événements de formation sur les produits, à des démonstrations innovantes et à des « expériences de formation » en ligne et en personne, afin de maximiser l’engagement du public et la rétention des connaissances.

  • Collaboration interfonctionnelle : Assurer la liaison et collaborer avec les parties prenantes internes (notamment les gestionnaires de produits, les gestionnaires de comptes, les gestionnaires de comptes nationaux, les gestionnaires de marques et les gestionnaires de catégories) afin de devenir un expert des produits et de soutenir les lancements stratégiques de produits.

  • Rétroaction et indicateurs : Fournir des documents complémentaires après la formation et distribuer des sondages pour évaluer l’efficacité des programmes de formation et suivre les progrès des participants.

Exigences minimales

  • Diplôme d’études collégiales ou universitaires requis

  • Bilinguisme (français et anglais)

Compétences et expériences souhaitées

  • Résider dans la région de Montréal ou dans la région du Grand Toronto (RGT).

  • Capacité à voyager jusqu’à 50 % du temps pour soutenir les événements de formation en personne, les séances avec les partenaires commerciaux et les visites sur le terrain (y compris occasionnellement les soirs et les fins de semaine).
  • Excellentes compétences en communication et en présentation, combinées à un esprit innovateur.

  • Solides compétences informatiques et volonté proactive de développer davantage ses compétences techniques.

  • Expérience en développement de contenu.

  • Autonomie et initiative pour comprendre rapidement les produits Whirlpool, leurs caractéristiques, leurs avantages pour les consommateurs ainsi que le paysage concurrentiel.

  • Enthousiasme passionné pour le commerce de détail et la connaissance des produits; aisance absolue à faire des présentations devant un public, tant virtuellement qu'en personne.

  • Aptitudes exceptionnelles pour les relations interpersonnelles; esprit d'équipe éprouvé et capacité à s'illustrer dans des environnements interfonctionnels.

  • Un solide bagage technique ou une expérience en tant que technicien(ne) de service constituent un atout majeur.

Données de rémunération

L’échelle salariale prévue pour ce poste se situe entre 51 550 $ et 103 100 $, à laquelle s'ajoute une prime annuelle. La rémunération finale à l’intérieur de cette fourchette sera déterminée en fonction de plusieurs facteurs, notamment les compétences pertinentes, l’expérience professionnelle, ainsi que la formation et les certifications spécifiques du candidat ou de la candidate.

The Learning & Development Team focuses on driving brand loyalty and revenue growth by supporting our trade partners, their sales staff, and Whirlpool Sales with world-class training solutions.

This role in summary

The Sales Learning & Development Specialist is responsible for creating, curating, sharing, and maintaining impactful training content for Retail Sales Associates, serving as a primary resource for other functions within Whirlpool Canada. This role focuses on maximizing sales, generating revenue, and increasing brand loyalty through the delivery of exceptional training programs to Whirlpool's trade partners, key influencers, and internal partners.

Your responsibilities will include

  • Product Training Delivery: Provide comprehensive product training to Whirlpool's appliance trade partners, internal partners, and key influencers to increase product features and consumer benefits awareness.

  • Content Creation: Create engaging and timely training content using a variety of software and tools, ensuring all information reflects current market environments and brand launch initiatives.

  • Event Execution: Lead, facilitate, and participate in various product training events, innovative demonstrations, and "training experiences" both online and in person to maximize audience engagement and knowledge retention.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Interface and collaborate with internal stakeholders—including Product Managers, Account Managers, National Account Managers, Brand Managers, and Category Managers—to become a product expert and support strategic product launches.

  • Feedback & Metrics: Deliver post-training take-aways and distribute surveys to evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and track participant progress.

Minimum requirements

  • College or University degree required
  • Bilingual in French & English

Preferred skills and experiences

  • Located in the Montreal Area or GTA
  • Ability travel up to 50% to support in-person training events, trade partner sessions, and field visits (including some evenings and weekends)
  • Superior communication and presentation skills coupled with an innovative mindset.

  • Strong computer skills with a proactive initiative to develop technical competencies further.

  • Experience with Content Development
  • Self-initiative to rapidly understand Whirlpool products, their features, consumer benefits, and the competitive landscape.

  • A passionate enthusiasm for retail and product knowledge, with total comfort presenting in front of audiences both virtually and in person.

  • Exceptional relationship-building skills; a proven team player who excels in cross-functional environments.

  • A strong technical background or service technician experience is considered a strong asset.

  • High level of detail orientation.

Compensation Data

The anticipated salary range for this position is $51,550- $103,100 + Annual Bonus. Final compensation within this range will be determined based on several factors, including the candidate’s relevant skills, professional experience, and specific educational background and certifications.
