Join Black & McDonald as a Procurement Specialist focusing on Nuclear Systems in Bowmanville or Pickering. Your expertise will guide procurement across critical projects while ensuring quality and efficiency. Reporting to the Procurement Director, the Nuclear Buyer manages the entire procurement lifecycle, negotiating contracts and ensuring compliance with CSA standards. Your role will include interaction with engineering teams and aligning procurement with project schedules, making a significant impact on project outcomes. Key Responsibilities: • Lead negotiations for purchase contracts and terms • Ensure adherence to CSA N286, N285, and N299 guidelines • Interpret BOMs and Technical Specifications for project needs • Place orders efficiently with suppliers • Maintain proper documentation for all procurement activities Requirements: • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business, or similar • Minimum 10 years of procurement experience in nuclear projects • Strong understanding of CSA standards • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and AS7/Passport • Excellent communication and team collaboration abilities Bring your extensive procurement skills to Black & McDonald and enhance the success of nuclear projects. #J-18808-Ljbffr
