Job description
Join Intact as the Director of IT Financial Controls, leading testing teams across North America. This hybrid role focuses on compliance, team development, and control assurance. As a key Director, you will guide the IT Financial Controls efforts for both Canadian and U.S. operations. Your leadership will enhance the team's skills through targeted development while ensuring compliance with financial regulations. Effective communication and strong relationships with other departments are crucial for addressing control shortcomings. Key Responsibilities: • Lead and mentor the IT Financial Controls team • Develop the annual testing strategy and resource plan • Analyze and report on control weaknesses within IT environment • Ensure adherence to regulatory compliance standards • Cultivate trust-based relationships with key stakeholders Requirements: • 12+ years of relevant experience, including leadership • Strong understanding of financial compliance frameworks • Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills • Experience with AI tools in compliance processes encouraged • Professional certifications like CPA or CISA are preferred Take charge of IT Financial Controls and ensure top-notch compliance at Intact, driving positive change across the organization. #J-18808-Ljbffr
