Job Description

This role supports a new-build retirement community project, focusing on general framing, MDF installation, and drywall patching. You will contribute to a large commercial, multi-family residential, or institutional construction environment, ensuring high-quality finishes and structurally sound work throughout the build.

Responsibilities

• Perform general framing tasks for a new-build retirement community, ensuring structures meet project specifications and safety standards.
• Install MDF components with precision, including trim, panels, and other finish carpentry elements.
• Carry out drywall hanging, including measuring, cutting, and securing panels to framing.
• Complete drywall mudding and taping to prepare surfaces for final finishing.

Essential Skills

• Strong framing skills, including layout, measuring, cutting, and assembly.
• Hands-on experience with MDF installation and finish carpentry work.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in commercial construction projects with mixed indoor and outdoor tasks.
• Comfort working in changing weather conditions and adapting to different phases of construction.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality finishes.
• Effective communication skills for coordinating with other trades and site leadership.

Work Environment

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $33.00 - $40.00/hr.
