HireArt is helping an on-demand, autonomous ride-hailing company find a Program Manager, Robot Industrial Design to drive alignment across internal and cross-functional design initiatives, ensuring priorities, milestones, and deliverables are clearly defined and executed.
In this role, you’ll coordinate key studio programs by managing timelines, tracking deliverables, identifying risks and dependencies, and maintaining clear communication across stakeholder groups. Working closely with design, engineering, product, brand, and manufacturing teams, you’ll help keep projects aligned, organized, and moving forward through critical development milestones.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, collaborative, and execution-focused, with a proven ability to manage cross-functional programs and build strong relationships across multidisciplinary teams.
As a Program Manager, Robot Industrial Design, you'll:- Drive alignment across studio and cross-functional initiatives, ensuring priorities, milestones, and deliverables remain on track.
- Partner with design leadership to develop and manage project plans that define scope, timelines, deliverables, and key milestones.
- Coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders to manage dependencies, align priorities, and support successful program execution.
- Identify risks and blockers early, communicate potential impacts, and drive mitigation plans.
- Support financial planning, budgeting, and resource tracking for studio initiatives.
- Prepare agendas, meeting materials, and executive-ready updates that highlight program status, risks, and key decisions.
- Track action items, upcoming deadlines, and project priorities to ensure timely execution.
- Partner with administrative support to coordinate leadership meetings and project reviews aligned with development milestones.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in program management, project management, operations, or project coordination
- Experience supporting cross-functional programs within automotive, consumer products, design, or a related industry is preferred
- Proven track record of managing complex cross-functional projects
- Proficiency with project management tools and methodologies
- Exceptional organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to build strong working relationships across leadership and multidisciplinary teams
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, solution-oriented approach
- Ability to adapt quickly and learn in a fast-paced environment

Commitment: This is a full-time, ongoing contract position staffed via HireArt. The role is hybrid, requiring at least four days per week onsite, and is available to candidates local to the Foster City, CA area.
