Job description
We are looking for a reliable, experienced, and detail-oriented full-time housekeeper to care for two family homes in Richmond, or one house part time. This is a long-term position for someone who takes pride in maintaining an organized, clean, and well-run home and enjoys working independently. Schedule * Monday, Wednesday & Friday: One family home * Tuesday & Thursday: Second family home * Full-time daytime hours (Monday–Friday) Responsibilities * Thorough cleaning and upkeep of both homes * Laundry, folding, ironing, and putting clothing away * Changing bed linens and making beds * Kitchen cleaning and maintenance * Bathroom cleaning * Vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and general household cleaning * Organizing closets, cupboards, and household spaces as needed * Child care for two children (age 7 and 4) in the house * Meal preparation (light family meal prep appreciated) * Seasonal deep cleaning and special household projects * Noticing and taking initiative on tasks that need attention to keep the homes running smoothly We’re looking for someone who is: * Dependable with excellent attendance and punctuality * Honest, trustworthy, and respectful * Self-motivated and able to work independently * Detail-oriented with high cleaning standards * Organized and proactive * Comfortable working in two family homes * Looking for a long-term position Requirements * Previous professional housekeeping experience preferred * Excellent references * Legally entitled to work in Canada * Driver’s licence and reliable transportation are an asset We offer a respectful work environment, consistent full-time hours, and competitive pay based on experience.
