We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Accounting Assistant who is organized, motivated, and eager to learn. This is a fixed-term contract opportunity offering valuable hands-on accounting experience within a supportive and collaborative team environment. This role is ideal for someone looking to grow their skills in accounting while contributing to day-to-day financial operations.
The Wilson’s Group of Companies is a locally owned and operated ground transportation and tour company serving Victoria, Vancouver Island and Vancouver. In operation since 1962, we are a trusted provider known for our exceptional service, transporting groups large and small from one destination to another – safely and on time.
The Accounting Assistant role will focus on activities related to invoicing and collecting payments. This includes following up on past due accounts, processing payments, supporting related administrative functions, and assisting with other accounting tasks as needed.
