Bilingual Investment Services Representative (Mandarin/Cantonese & English)

About the Opportunity

Our client, a leading Canadian financial services organization, is seeking a Bilingual Investment Services Representative (Mandarin/Cantonese & English) to join their Investment Services Contact Centre.

This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with banking, wealth management, or investment services experience who enjoy delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced contact centre environment. You'll receive comprehensive training while supporting clients with their investment accounts and contributing to a collaborative, client-focused team.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond to client inquiries via telephone and email in both English and Mandarin/Cantonese.
• Assist clients with account-related requests, including account status, transfers, registered accounts (RRSPs), and general investment inquiries.
• Resolve customer concerns professionally, accurately, and efficiently.
• Identify opportunities to educate clients on available products and services through appropriate referrals and cross-selling.
• Adhere to established policies, procedures, service standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain detailed and accurate client records while ensuring confidentiality and compliance.
• Contribute to a positive team environment by collaborating with colleagues and supporting departmental objectives.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English and Mandarin and/or Cantonese with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• 2–4 years of customer service experience within a banking, financial services, or investment environment.
• Experience working in a high-volume contact centre handling phone and email inquiries.
• General knowledge of investment products and services, including registered accounts such as RRSPs and account transfers.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience supporting investment or wealth management clients.
• Completion of the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) or Investment Funds in Canada (IFIC), or currently pursuing either designation.
• Post-secondary education in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.

Work Schedule

Training:

• Monday to Friday
• 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

After Training:

• Contact Centre operating hours: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM
• Rotating shifts scheduled within operating hours
• Latest scheduled shift: 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM
