Job Description
:Reporting to the VP In-force Management and Business Optimization the successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, developing and executing strategic initiatives that improve financial performance and optimize capital across our Sun Life Canada in-force businesses. This role is well suited to a finance professional with a curious mindset, strong business judgement, and a willingness to collaboratively explore new opportunities. This position offers significant scope across Canada Finance and gives high visibility to leadership with direct involvement in strategic decision making. The AVP will partner closely with the CFOs and AVPs of the Canadian business units, other functional areas including Canadian Finance, Actuarial, ALM, Risk, Tax and the Corporate Office, and external professionals, to identify and execute value-enhancing opportunities.

As this position is posted in several locations, we specify that bilingualism (French, English, both oral and written) is required for Quebec only as the position includes managing both French and English-speaking staff (Quebec and outside Quebec) and providing daily support to the team.
