Job description

Salary: $135,200 - 145,600 per year

Requirements:
  • We are looking for a bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • We require 5 to 7+ years of experience as an ETL Developer in data warehouse environments.
  • We need strong hands-on experience with Salesforce data integration and migration.
  • We require proficiency in SOQL and Salesforce data structures, including standard and custom objects.
  • We need experience working with Salesforce APIs, data extraction, and bulk data operations.
  • We require strong expertise in SQL Server, T-SQL, and stored procedures.
  • We need experience using SSIS for ETL development and deployment.
  • We require a solid understanding of data mapping and data transformation concepts.
  • We need experience optimizing and troubleshooting SQL queries and stored procedures.
  • We prefer familiarity with PL/SQL scripting.
  • We value experience with MS Access and legacy data sources.
  • We need strong data analysis skills with a focus on data quality and integrity.
  • We prefer experience integrating Salesforce with healthcare or regulated data environments.
  • We value knowledge of Salesforce data governance, security, and best practices.
  • We prefer familiarity with middleware or integration platforms.
  • We need the ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable ETL solutions.
  • We are looking for strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, and communication skills.
  • We need the ability to work independently and collaboratively with minimal supervision.
  • We require the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Responsibilities:
  • We design, develop, and maintain ETL processes with a strong emphasis on Salesforce data integration and migration.
  • We build and optimize data pipelines between Salesforce and SQL Server environments.
  • We analyze Salesforce objects, relationships, and metadata to shape effective migration and integration approaches.
  • We develop ETL solutions from the ground up or enhance existing Salesforce-related integrations.
  • We extract and transform Salesforce data using SOQL and API-based integrations.
  • We implement scheduling, orchestration, and automation for ETL workflows, including Salesforce data loads.
  • We translate complex business logic into efficient SQL and ETL processes aligned with Salesforce data models.
  • We design, code, debug, and review ETL processes.
  • We perform unit, integration, and performance testing to ensure data accuracy and consistency across systems.
  • We promote ETL solutions across environments using SSIS and deployment best practices.
  • We document ETL processes, Salesforce data mappings, and transformation rules.
  • We collaborate with architects, analysts, DBAs, and business stakeholders to resolve data and integration issues.
  • We provide status updates, estimates, and risk assessments.
  • We evaluate and recommend new tools and technologies for Salesforce data integration.

We are hiring for a 6-month contract role in the healthcare industry with a hybrid work model requiring two days per week in our Mississauga, Ontario office. This is a full-time opportunity at 40 hours per week, offering a casual dress environment and a pay range of $65.00 to $70.00 per hour. We use AI-based systems to support initial applicant screening. The work location is hybrid remote in Mississauga, ON L5N 5P9.
