Job Purpose
GSK is looking to hire a Sr. Insights & Analytics Manager to join our ViiV Healthcare Team. This 18-month contract role is a hybrid model, requiring 2-3 days in the Mississauga or Montreal office, and reports directly to Business Intelligence Director. The ideal candidate will reside in or near Mississauga or Montreal.


As a Sr. Insights & Analytics Manager, you will be responsible for supporting growth in the ViiV Canada business by leading a broad range of key business functions & deliverables with accountability for identifying insights, recommending opportunities that drive impact, and informing strategy. This role will cover the full ViiV Canada portfolio, and include key areas of Performance Reporting, Forecasting, and Sales Force Effectiveness. The successful candidate will have a commitment to excellence, collaborative approach, and desire to drive impact, to be ambitious for patients living with HIV and people who can benefit from PrEP.

Details (Your Responsibilities)

  • Accountable for delivering on key I&A pillars, including Performance Reporting, Forecasting, Commercial Analytics, Sales Force Effectiveness and Incentive Compensation, and Market Research

  • Lead the Performance Reporting process to ensure clear understanding of business performance, market dynamics, and insights across cross-functional stakeholders and leadership team

  • Build on customer, competitor and performance insights to proactively identify and recommend opportunities to drive performance and inform strategy, and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to prioritize and implement actions

  • Directly lead and manage ~2-4 I&A support resources (including Knowledge Centre team, interns, vendors/consultants) to ensure high-quality and timely reporting deliverables, effective utilization, and develop skilled support of the Canadian business

  • Responsible for the delivery of key reports, including Key Performance Indicators, Monthly Performance Reviews, Sales Reporting, PowerBI, Patient Support Program Summary Reports, Supply & Forecast Reports, etc.

  • Proactively monitor, assess needs, and manage the development of reporting deliverables, processes and tools to support effective performance monitoring and quick decision-making

  • Create strong strategic partnership with sales leaders, and lead the territory business planning process, using key data, analytics, and insights to generate strategic and informed plans

  • Drive focus and energy within the organization towards opportunities & key accounts, monitor performance and ensure resources are allocated appropriately to achieve business objectives

  • Use evidence-based data to identify key KPIs with impact, securing buy-in and commitment from cross-functional teams, and set ambitious and achievable business targets

  • Partner with sales and marketing to drive sales effectiveness aligned with brand and business priorities, including segmentation & targeting, alignment, call planning, and reporting

  • Lead the forecasting process to generate forecasts based on clear evidence-driven assumptions, incorporating key market & brand dynamics, pipeline & competition, business strategy, and latest performance insights

  • Monitor and understand drivers of variance to forecasts to manage demand forecasts and ensure product supply

  • Support the strategy and implementation of a motivational pay-for-performance Sales Force Incentive (SFI program), including target setting


Basic Qualifications:

  • University Degree, preferably in Business, Finance, or Healthcare related field

  • Minimum of 10+ years of pharma industry experience

  • Minimum of 5+ years experience in HIV or Specialty Care therapeutic areas

  • Minimum of 5+ years of analytics, sales force effectiveness and/or business intelligence experience

  • Proficient understanding of Canadian pharmaceutical market, including pharma market drivers, health care systems, competitive environment, and patient/HCP/treatment pathways Strong analytical skills, with demonstrated ability to synthesis large data and identify key insights, opportunities and strategic recommendations

  • Proven ability to synthesize business questions and deliver actionable solutions

  • Solution-based mindset able to assimilate and prioritize a broad range of business issues and needs associated with multiple stakeholders within the organization

  • Excellent communication skills for interaction with senior stakeholders

  • Comfortable challenging others and influencing without authority, ensuring an objective representation of ideas and opinions

  • Proven problem-solver, uses out-of-the-box thinking to drive innovation

  • Pro-active, with a continuous improvement mindset to optimize, simplify, and identify opportunities to add value

  • Strong planning and organization skills, results-oriented with a proven ability to prioritize work and meet challenging deadlines

  • Solid understanding of secondary data sources, including IQVIA data

  • Strong skills in MS Office suite, particularly Microsoft Excel

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced University degrees are desirable (Preferred Master or PH.D level Degree like MBA, PH.D., M. Biotech, etc.)

  • Experience with salesforce effectiveness approaches, including segmentation & targeting, alignment, sales reporting, incentive compensation

  • Experience with forecasting, analog modeling, and market research

  • Advanced understanding of Pharma product strategies and organizational dynamics

  • Familiarity with tools including Veeva and PowerBI

Objectif du poste
GSK cherche à pourvoir un poste degestionnaire principal, Perspectives et analytiqueau sein de notre équipe ViiV Healthcare. Ce poste est offert en mode hybride, exigeant une présence de 2 à 3 jours par semaine au bureau de Mississauga ou de Montréal, et relève directement du directeur, Intelligence d’affaires. Le ou la candidat(e) idéal(e) résidera à Mississauga, Montréal ou dans les environs.

En tant que gestionnaire principal·e, Renseignements et analytique, vous serez responsable de soutenir la croissance des activités de ViiV Canada en dirigeant un large éventail de fonctions et de livrables d’affaires clés, avec la responsabilité d’identifier des renseignements, de recommander des occasions à fort impact et d’éclairer la stratégie. Ce rôle couvre l’ensemble du portefeuille de ViiV Canada et inclut des domaines clés comme la production de rapports sur la performance, la prévision et l’efficacité de la force de vente.   • Être responsable de la réalisation des principaux piliers Renseignements et analytique, y compris les rapports de performance, la prévision, l’analytique commerciale, l’efficacité de la force de vente et la rémunération incitative, ainsi que la recherche de marché.

  • Diriger le processus de production de rapports sur la performance afin d’assurer une compréhension claire du rendement de l’entreprise, de la dynamique du marché et des renseignements à l’échelle des parties prenantes interfonctionnelles et de l’équipe de direction.

  • S’appuyer sur des renseignements sur la clientèle, la concurrence et la performance pour identifier et recommander de façon proactive des occasions visant à stimuler la performance et à éclairer la stratégie, et collaborer avec les parties prenantes interfonctionnelles pour hiérarchiser et mettre en œuvre les actions.

  • Diriger et gérer directement environ 2 à 4 ressources de soutien Renseignements et analytique (y compris l’équipe du Centre de connaissances, les stagiaires, les fournisseurs/consultants) afin d’assurer des livrables de rapports de haute qualité et en temps opportun, une utilisation efficace et le développement de ressources qualifiées pour soutenir les activités canadiennes.

  • Être responsable de la livraison de rapports clés, notamment les indicateurs de performance (KPI), les revues mensuelles de performance, les rapports de ventes, les tableaux de bord Power BI, les rapports sommaires des programmes de soutien aux patients, les rapports d’approvisionnement et de prévision, etc.

  • Surveiller de façon proactive les besoins, évaluer et gérer le développement des livrables, processus et outils de production de rapports afin de soutenir une surveillance efficace de la performance et une prise de décision rapide.

  • Établir un solide partenariat stratégique avec les chefs des ventes et diriger le processus de planification des affaires par territoire, en utilisant des données, analyses et renseignements clés pour élaborer des plans stratégiques et éclairés.

  • Stimuler la concentration et l’énergie de l’organisation vers les occasions et comptes clés, surveiller la performance et veiller à ce que les ressources soient allouées de manière appropriée afin d’atteindre les objectifs d’affaires.

  • Utiliser des données probantes pour identifier des indicateurs clés de performance ayant un impact, obtenir l’adhésion et l’engagement des équipes interfonctionnelles, et fixer des cibles d’affaires ambitieuses mais réalisables.

  • Collaborer avec les équipes des ventes et du marketing afin de renforcer l’efficacité des ventes, en cohérence avec les priorités de la marque et de l’entreprise, notamment la segmentation et le ciblage, l’alignement, la planification des appels et la production de rapports.

  • Diriger le processus de prévision pour produire des prévisions fondées sur des hypothèses clairement étayées par des données probantes, intégrant les principales dynamiques de marché et de marque, le pipeline et la concurrence, la stratégie d’affaires et les plus récents renseignements sur la performance.

  • Surveiller et comprendre les facteurs à l’origine des écarts par rapport aux prévisions afin de gérer les prévisions de la demande et d’assurer l’approvisionnement en produits.

  • Soutenir la stratégie et la mise en œuvre d’un programme de rémunération incitative de la force de vente (Sales Force Incentive – SFI) motivant et fondé sur la performance, y compris l’établissement des cibles.


Qualifications de base

  • Diplôme universitaire, de préférence en administration des affaires, en finance ou dans un domaine lié aux soins de santé.

  • Minimum de 10+ années d’expérience dans l’industrie pharmaceutique.

  • Minimum de 5+ années d’expérience dans les domaines thérapeutiques du VIH ou des soins spécialisés.

  • Minimum de 5+ années d’expérience en analytique, efficacité de la force de vente et/ou intelligence d’affaires.

  • Compréhension approfondie du marché pharmaceutique canadien, y compris les facteurs qui influencent le marché pharmaceutique, les systèmes de santé, l’environnement concurrentiel et les parcours des patients/professionnels de la santé/traitements.
