Here's how your role will strengthen our team. We are seeking an organized and resourceful Service Dispatcher to lead our field service team. You will be the central hub connecting our clients with our field electricians, ensuring our daily operations run safely, efficiently, and on scheduleYour responsibilitiesReceive/Respond to customer service inquiries via phone and email, coordinating requests for service and supportConduct initial assessments of service requests, gather relevant information, and collaborate with internal teams to identify appropriate solutionsPrioritize incoming service requests and effectively schedule and dispatch service techniciansCreate and manage work orders, and support the invoicing process to ensure accurate and timely billingMonitor service reports and customer documentation to ensure timely completion and compliance with company standardsDeliver exceptional customer service through proactive communication, ongoing support, and follow-upCoordinate with customers and site contacts to facilitate scheduling, service execution, and work order completionEnsure adherence to established processes, procedures, and service standardsMaintain accurate filing systems, document control, and assist with office and operational supply ordersYour experience and skillsHigh School Diploma or equivalent3+ years' experience in a similar role coordinating technician schedules and dispatching service callsExperience with tracking, billing, and reportingExcellent computer skills in MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, etc.)Prior experience using service management software or similar software is an assetUnderstanding of service operations and life cycle is an assetExtremely organized work habits, patient, and customer service focusedSuperior written and verbal English communication skillsNatural, confident ability and positive attitudeFlexible with the proven ability to multitask in a changing, fast-paced environmentBasic electrical or construction knowledge is an assetAbout HouleAs BC's leading electrical contractor and systems integrator, we believe in delivering safe, reliable power for the future.
