You have a high attention to detail and love working in a fun, fast-paced environment.As the Cook, you’re instrumental in creating our customer’s dining experience at Boomer’s. You play a critical part in our success. You use your thorough understanding of food safety and handling to prepare high quality meals, ensuring the highest standards are realized. We’ll do our part to provide a fun environment, great teammates to work with and abundant free parking!! If you don’t normally drive to work, not to worry as MNP Place is on a major bus route.Ideally, you have recent experience as a cook in a similar, “bar & grill” type of place that serves high quality “pub style” meals. As this is an entry level role, kitchen experience is not required, however it is significant asset. If you already have your Food Safe certification, your resume will show up in our “daily specials” board.This is a seasonal position ideal for students or others seeking short-term employment. The schedule consists of Tuesday and Wednesday shifts from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. for the months of July and August.If you have a good sense of humour, take pride in serving great food, have your “Food Safe” certification and are interested in a summer kitchen opportunity, click that “apply” button today!Boomers Bar & Grill is in Kelowna at MNP Place where you can enjoy great food and drinks with an incredible view of the ice rinks, all easily accessible on public transit!
