Shifts defined: Days 6:30 -4:30 Evenings 14:30 22:30 Nights 22:30 6:30
Whatyoullbe doing
Assistresidentswithmobility feeding bathingtoiletingandpersonalgrooming
Encourageresidentparticipation in activitiesand programs
Provide emotional and social support to residentsandfamilies
What you bring
Completed a PSW Program certification that meets theappropriate standardsasfor the position
BSO certification preferred
Able toperform physical tasks and duties includingfrequent bendingreachingand lifting
Compassion professionalism and respect
Ability to provide carein accordance withapplication legislation job routines nursing care plans ability to read and write English and understand verbal and written instructions in English
Experience in Long Term Care or community home care setting with exposure to dementia and palliative care is preferred
Ability to communicate positively with other staff residents/patientsand families
