Job description

Salary: $85,000 - 95,000 per year

Requirements:
  • We require that applicants can obtain a security clearance and have lived in Canada continuously for the previous five years.
  • We look for at least 2 years of professional experience with Java, JEE, and related technologies in a post-graduate work setting.
  • We expect familiarity with front-end web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • We value understanding of relational database fundamentals and SQL.
  • We require knowledge of software development lifecycles (SDLC).
  • We prefer candidates with experience supporting government or public sector clients.
  • We consider experience with integration technologies such as SOAP and REST web services an advantage.
  • We welcome familiarity with modern JavaScript frameworks such as ReactJS, Angular, or NodeJS.
  • We require a Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science or a related IT discipline from an accredited institution.
  • We expect excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • We look for a strong interest in continuous learning and professional development.
Responsibilities:
  • We design, configure, customize, and deploy functionality for client projects in the Health and Human Services space using the Cúram by Merative COTS platform.
  • We contribute to front-end solution design and implementation as part of the project team.
  • We use problem-solving skills and technical expertise to deliver strong outcomes.
  • We prepare and present product capability and best-practice presentations.
  • We collaborate with team members, client stakeholders, and software vendors to achieve quality deliverables.
  • We build a deep understanding of the Cúram application and how it is configured for client implementations.
  • We tailor and adapt the Cúram application to meet client needs.
  • We ensure work aligns with project technical standards.
  • We represent Diona professionally and knowledgeably to customers.
  • We learn under the direction of a Project Lead and grow into a technology expert for software implementation projects.
  • We complete a two-week training program on the Cúram by Merative COTS product and pass the required certification exam.

This is a remote-first role based in Toronto or Ottawa, with occasional travel for client workshops and project milestones.
