About the Role:
Tired of being trapped in cramped indoor aisles all day? If you have a valid forklift certification and prefer a dynamic environment that includes outdoor yard operations, we want you on our Milton team! We are seeking dependable Forklift & Yard Operators to help manage and streamline our busy lumber yard and distribution operations.

Whether your primary experience is on a Counterbalance, Reach Truck, Order Picker, or Combilift, we have a spot for you. This is a temporary-to-permanent position, meaning we are looking for reliable team players who want to prove their skills and transition into a long-term, stable career with us.

What You Bring to the Team:
Certifications: Any valid Forklift Certification (Counterbalance, Reach, Order Picker, etc.) with hands-on operating experience.
Yard Savvy: Background in order picking, stock replenishment, loading/unloading, or inventory tracking.
Resilience: Physically fit, able to lift up to 50 lbs, and comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
Availability: Flexible to work full-time hours; openness to multiple shifts is a major asset.
Mindset: A reliable team player with an excellent attendance history and a safety-first attitude.

Responsibilities
Shipping & Receiving: Safely load and unload shipments using proper equipment.
Order Staging: Place orders onto pallets and stage them in designated shipping areas.
Yard & Warehouse Tasks: Perform general warehouse and yard maintenance as assigned.
Safely operate Reach, Counterbalance, Order Picker, and Walkie forklifts.

Qualifications
License: Valid certification for Reach, Dock Stocker, Order Picker, Counterbalance, or Walkie.
Performance: Proven ability to operate safely and efficiently under pressure.
Reliability: Excellent attendance, punctuality, and a history of long-term job commitment.
Physical Demands: Able to stand for full shifts and lift up to 50 lbs.
Schedule: Available for consistent, full-time weekly hours.
