The Analyst, Supply Chain Systems Support - Contract provides maternity leave coverage for a Supply Chain Systems analyst role (12 month fixed term contract). This position supports business users, application issue resolution, documentation, testing, and operational continuity across Supply Chain systems and processes.

This role is best suited for someone who can ramp up quickly, communicate clearly, document thoroughly, and provide reliable support coverage while partnering with internal IT teams, business users, vendors, and managed-service partners.

Work Schedule and Operational Coverage

Supply Chain operations run on a 24/7 operating model. This role is expected to follow a continental shift schedule aligned to Distribution Center operations, which may include day/night rotations, weekends, holidays, and occasional extended support during critical incidents, system changes, go-lives, or operational disruptions.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide day-to-day support coverage for Supply Chain business users across applications, interfaces, reports, access, and operational process issues.

  • Provide support coverage according to the assigned continental shift schedule to help ensure continuity for 24/7 Distribution Center and Supply Chain operations.

  • Triage incidents and requests, gather required information, document business impact, and coordinate next steps with the appropriate resolver teams or vendors.

  • Support Supply Chain systems and processes across areas such as warehouse operations, transportation, ordering, SAP-connected processes, inventory, planning, procurement, manufacturing, reporting, and integrations.

  • Maintain clear and complete ticket updates in ServiceNow or other support tools, including work notes, evidence, action owners, and resolution summaries.

  • Update knowledge articles, support documentation, test scripts, checklists, and handover materials to maintain continuity during the contract period.

  • Assist with testing, UAT coordination, release support, project hypercare, and issue tracking for Supply Chain system changes.

  • Escalate blockers, recurring issues, documentation gaps, and support risks to the Manager, Supply Chain Systems in a timely manner.

  • Support continuous improvement by identifying practical ways to reduce repetitive effort, improve documentation, and simplify support activities.

  • Use AI-enabled tools, Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT-style assistants, and no-code/low-code automation responsibly to support documentation, analysis, testing preparation, and repeatable support tasks.

Systems and Process Exposure

The role may support or interact with a range of Supply Chain applications and platforms, including SAP supply chain processes, Manhattan WMS, transportation and routing systems, warehouse and manufacturing applications, Kinaxis, Coupa, middleware/interfaces, reporting/data platforms, ServiceNow, Microsoft 365, Power Platform, Appian, RPA tools, and vendor-managed systems. Prior exposure to all platforms is not required, but the ability to learn quickly and support business continuity is important.

AI, Automation, and Modern IT Expectations

  • Comfort using AI-assisted tools such as Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT-style assistants, or similar platforms to accelerate documentation, analysis, knowledge creation, test preparation, and communication.

  • Interest in no-code/low-code automation tools such as Microsoft Power Automate, Power Apps, Appian, workflow tools, or RPA platforms.

  • Ability to recognize simple automation opportunities in repetitive support, reporting, and documentation work.

  • Understanding of responsible AI usage, including validation of outputs and appropriate handling of confidential business information.

What You Bring:

  • Bachelor degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business Technology, Supply Chain, or equivalent practical experience.

  • 1+ years of experience in systems analysis, application support, IT support, business analysis, or supply-chain technology support.

  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.

  • Experience working with enterprise applications, support tickets, testing, system documentation, and cross-functional issue resolution.

  • Ability to ramp up quickly, follow established processes, manage multiple priorities, and maintain clear handover documentation.

  • Availability and flexibility to work continental shifts aligned to Distribution Center operating schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.

  • Strong Microsoft Office / Microsoft 365 skills, especially Excel, Outlook, Teams, Word, and PowerPoint.

What Helps You Brew Success

  • Experience supporting Supply Chain, Distribution Center, Warehouse, Transportation, Manufacturing, QSR, CPG, Retail, or Franchise operations.

  • Exposure to SAP supply chain processes, WMS, TMS/routing, inventory, planning, manufacturing, procurement, or order-to-cash processes.

  • Experience with ServiceNow, Jira, agile delivery practices, testing coordination, or project support.

  • Experience with Microsoft Power Platform, Appian, RPA tools, AI assistants, or automation-focused process improvement.

  • Basic understanding of SQL, databases, reporting, interfaces, EDI, APIs, or integration support is an asset.

  • Reliable support coverage and quick ramp-up into existing systems and processes.

  • Strong documentation and handover discipline.

  • Clear communication with business users, IT teams, and vendors.

  • Practical problem-solving and willingness to learn unfamiliar systems quickly.

  • Positive contribution to support continuity during the maternity leave period.

This posting is for a position that will become vacant on or around November 1, 2026. This is a 12 month fixed term contract. For candidates based in Ontario, the expected salary range is 63,000 - 73,000 CAD.
