Location: Bedford, NS
Availability: Full-Time (10pm - 6am)

This role will serve as a frontline team leader providing team leadership and functional expertise on the night shift.

Responsibilities
- Manage the receiving and delivery of finished products in a timely manner.
- Utilize docks, warehouse layout, and route truck loading patterns that minimize loading time.
- Ensure the optimal inventory levels of full goods are maintained in order to fulfill daily sales needs.
- Provide timely service to sales department while minimizing warehouse and production costs.
- Develop team to solve day-to-day operational issues and reach short- and long-term performance goals.
- Deliver effective change leadership while driving business changes and minimizing people impact.
- Communicate and collaborate cross-functionally to assist team to solve operational issues.
- Builds people capability through effective employee relations, hiring, training, and communication for front-line hourly personnel.
- Motivate team members to achieve plan goals.
- Maintain the inventory system to aid in production scheduling.
- Maintain all housekeeping and safety standards and training.
- Identify and execute productivity opportunities to help facility meet annual operating plan.
- Administer policies and procedures.
- Regular and predictable attendance at the work site
Qualifications
- Microsoft Suite includes Excel comprehension.
- Ability to give and receive constructive feedback.
- Ability to lead a team-based approach to decision making.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a results-oriented, challenging environment.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to get results through mentoring others.
- Effective coaching, facilitation, presentation, and team building skills.
