Role Summary:

We are seeking an Electrical Construction Supervisor to join our team for a mining project in Hope Bay, Nunavut. This is a Fly in/ Fly out Opportunity with flights provided out of Edmonton.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Initiate, coordinate, direct, and schedule site personnel to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Assist with the optimizations of mechanical and electrical design drawings.
  • Assist in preparation and negotiation of mechanical and electrical subcontracts.
  • Monitor the overall progress of the project and take corrective action where necessary.
  • Maintains a respectful and engaging work environment for all employees.
  • Ensures that PTW policies and project procedures are being adhered to; including PTW's Health Safety, Security and Environmental Policies.
  • Maintain a good working relationship with customers, consultants and subcontractors.
  • Prepare and review reports on progress, costs, materials used and adjust work schedules as required.
  • Accountable for compliance with the union agreement.
  • Prepare overall work plan and schedule in conjunction with Site Superintendent and Project Manager.

Qualifications / Requirements:

  • Must be a Journeyman Electrician
  • Minimum 3-5 years' experience in industrial and oil field experience
  • Ability to pass a drug and alcohol pre-access
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and prioritize work in a fast-paced site environment
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and accountability
  • Commitment to working safely and following all site safety requirements

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Competitive hourly wage
  • Overtime opportunities paid at 1.5x the regular hourly rate
