Our Immigration practice is dedicated to assisting organizations and their employees in efficiently relocating wherever they are needed. We offer a comprehensive range of business immigration services, including obtaining both immigrant and non-immigrant statuses, temporary work visas, and providing advisory services tailored to the needs of employees and employers alike.

Key responsibilities

Attorneys on our Business Immigration team manage the delivery of complex immigration services, leveraging their technical legal expertise to provide proactive and strategic solutions that align with our clients' needs.

Core elements of the role include

• Utilizing your technical legal and procedural understanding of business immigration law - including PERM, NIV and IV law - and effectively applying this knowledge to client situations.
• Preparing, reviewing, and submitting non-immigrant, immigrant, and PERM applications in a high-volume environment.
• Managing client deliverables and expectations while demonstrating an ability to effectively execute on competing priorities.
• Facilitating the legal movement of employees across borders for business travel.
• Managing law clerks and other members of the client service team.
• Continually evaluating and enhancing best immigration client service delivery best practices.

Qualifications

• A JD along with admission to any state bar.
• Practical knowledge of immigration.
• Excellent managerial, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to provide not only technical legal expertise, but also proactive and strategic business solutions that are in line with the needs of our clientele.

• Ability to multi-task and take on a variety of projects.
• A proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with a high level of professionalism.

EY reports salary ranges in accordance with applicable provincial pay transparency legislation. Individual salaries within the anticipated salary ranges noted below are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to internal equity, education, relevant experience, knowledge, and applicable skill sets.

• Toronto/Vancouver : $111,500 to $161,500
• Ottawa : $106,000 to $156,000
