Our client, a leader in the industrial sector, is seeking a dedicated and hardworking Data Center Technician to join their team. As Data Center Technician you will be an essential part of the operations team, supporting technicians and ensuring smooth workflow during a busy project period. Installation Technician – Mackenzie, BC

$38/hour + $69/day Per Diem | Travel & Accommodation Provided

We are currently seeking experienced Data Centre Technicians to join an ongoing infrastructure project in Mackenzie, British Columbia.

This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with hands-on data centre experience who are looking for consistent work, competitive pay, and provided accommodations.

Key Responsibilities

• Rack and unrack servers

• Install IT server rails and hardware

• Install and manage structured cabling

• Install and connect network switches

• Assist with data centre infrastructure deployment and upgrades

• Follow project procedures and safety requirements

• Work collaboratively with on-site leads and project coordinators

Required Experience

Candidates must have proven experience in:

• Data centre environments

• Server installation and removal

• Rack and rail installation

• Copper and fibre cabling

• Network switch installation

• Working independently while maintaining quality and accuracy

Project Duration & Travel Requirements

• Candidates must be available to travel and work on-site in Mackenzie, BC for approximately 8 weeks

• Travel arrangements will be coordinated by the company

• Flights will be arranged to Prince George, with transportation provided to Mackenzie

Compensation & Benefits

• $40.00 per hour

• $69/day per diem

• Overtime paid when applicable

• Accommodation provided (hotel or long-term rental housing)

Schedule

• Monday to Saturday

• 40–48 hours per week

• Typically 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (hours may vary based on project requirements)

• On-site support includes project leads and coordinators

Mackenzie, BC

Travel, transportation, and lodging are fully coordinated for successful candidates.
