Your new role
We are seeking a
Warehouse Coordinator
To join the team on a contract basis through to the end of the year. This role plays a key part in ensuring the smooth operation of warehouse functions, including inventory management, shipping and receiving, and maintaining an organized and efficient facility.
- Authenticate and verify iing goods, recording any discrepancies
- Coordinate shipping and receiving with transporters and suppliers
- Ensure proper handling, storage, and accurate inventory of materials
- Maintain detailed and accurate inventory and stock records
- Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and safe at all times
- Assist with inventory counts (including quarterly counts) and updates
- Support purchasing by ensuring products are received and issues resolved
- Match purchase orders to packing slips and update inventory systems.
- File and manage documentation in accordance withpany standards
- Deliver materials to job sites as required
- Coordinate vehicle servicing, including pick-ups and drop-offs
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness, supplies, andpany standards
- Track and manage tool inventory for the location
- Order and monitor office, kitchen, and cleaning supplies
- Ensuremon areas (kitchen, washrooms, photocopy areas) are stocked and maintained
- Collaborate with team members to improve overall operations
- Represent thepany professionally at all times
- Perform additional duties as required
What you'll need to succeed
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a warehouse environment
- Experience with warehouse or inventory management systems preferred
- Previous exposure to construction environments is an asset.
- A valid and clean driver’s license is required.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced setting
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Experience with financial systems (purchase orders, inventory tracking, goods received, credits)
- Strongmunication and interpersonal skills
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently
