Job description
Join Sun Life Canada as the Assistant Vice-President, Technology Lead, overseeing health technology systems. Lead a talented team while fostering an innovative engineering culture. As the AVP, you’ll be responsible for managing one of the largest technology portfolios in health benefits at Sun Life Canada. With over 250 professionals under your leadership, you will enhance platform delivery, ensure system integration, and make critical strategic decisions. Your role is essential in defining the future of health technology while delivering exceptional member experiences. Key Responsibilities: • Drive technology strategy and platform modernization • Accountable for agile delivery excellence across teams • Mentor and develop high-performing technology teams • Manage vendor relationships and budgeting decisions • Establish governance to ensure platform stability Requirements: • 10+ years in senior roles managing large tech portfolios • Expertise with Mainframe and health platforms • Strong financial acumen for budgeting and ROI • Proven ability to lead teams through transformation • Bilingualism for Quebec roles is mandatory Elevate innovation and operational success at Sun Life Canada as you drive technology advancements in health benefits. #J-18808-Ljbffr
