Job Title: Reliable Part-Time Nanny/Helper Needed (12 PM – 5 PM) – Licensed Only Job Description We are looking for a reliable, attentive, and licensed caregiver to join our home part-time in Barrie. Both parents work full-time from home, so we are seeking someone who can seamlessly integrate into our daily routine, providing dedicated care for our young child while keeping our main floor organized and running smoothly. This is a fantastic position for someone local who excels at balancing attentive child interaction with light household tasks during downtime. Schedule, Timeline & Compensation Hours: Monday to Friday, 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM (25 hours per week) Timeline: Early September: Starting with a light/flexible schedule for the first few weeks to transition and get acclimated. September 28, 2026: Must have full, regular availability for the permanent 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM hours moving forward. Rate: $18.00 per hour Location: Barrie, ON Key Responsibilities Childcare: Providing engaging, safe, and attentive care for our child during afternoon hours. Meal Prep: No cooking required. You will only need to heat up pre-cooked meals or prepare simple snacks for our child. Light Housekeeping: Keeping the main floor tidy, washing/loading dishes, and maintaining clean common areas. Laundry: Folding and putting away baby laundry. Job Requirements Must be licensed (ECE, registered childcare provider, or equivalent valid licensing/certifications). Valid First Aid & CPR certification. Up-to-date Criminal Record Check / Vulnerable Sector Check. Comfortable working in a home where both parents work remotely in dedicated home offices. Strong communication skills, a warm personality, and a proactive attitude toward keeping spaces tidy.
