Job description
Step into a rewarding locum role as a Family Physician, focusing on maternity care at our well-equipped clinic near Kelowna General Hospital. Enjoy the flexibility of a rotating schedule and telehealth options. Our clinic is on the lookout for a Family Physician with significant experience in prenatal care and hospital deliveries. The position supports collaborative care within a multi-physician environment, providing various opportunities for community engagement, including precepting students and assisting in surgeries. Join us in a role that enhances patient care while enjoying a convenient locale. Key Responsibilities: • Manage clinical prenatal visits with confidence • Participate in a rotating locum schedule with dyad partners • Take part in call shifts approximately every 8 weeks • Engage in community efforts such as SART • Work alongside a full-time RN and other healthcare professionals Requirements: • Comfort with clinical maternity care is essential • Preferred experience with hospital deliveries in practice • Adaptable to rotate between various physician schedules • Commitment to collaborative healthcare in a clinical setting • Capable of practicing in a newly built, modern facility Leverage your maternity care experience in this dynamic locum position to impact patient health significantly. #J-18808-Ljbffr
