Job description
Carter’s Inc. seeks a Merchandise Planning Manager to optimize financial results for leading brands like OshKosh B’gosh. Engage in strategic planning and in-season inventory management. This role is critical to achieving the organization’s financial and assortment goals. You will work closely with the Category Management team to ensure merchandise plans align with market demands and inventory targets. Your insights will guide the development of financial strategies and promotional alignment. Key Responsibilities: • Create and implement comprehensive merchandise financial plans • Regularly update and forecast financial performance metrics • Develop markdown strategies to enhance sales while preserving margin • Partner with management on inventory assessments and adjustments • Provide analytical reporting on merchandise trends Requirements: • Minimum 4 years in planning and financial analysis • Strong analytical and communication skills • Advanced Excel abilities required • Experience in retail planning or replenishment beneficial • Must thrive in a rapidly changing retail environment Elevate your career by driving financial success at Carter’s in the children’s apparel sector. #J-18808-Ljbffr
