We are seeking candidates for the position of Collections Enforcement Clerk for a 12-month contract located in our Head Office in Guelph, Ontario . Compensation: Starting at $50,000 annually Job Description As a Collections Enforcement Clerk, you’ll take the lead in preparing, filing, and advancing claims through the Small Claims Court process.
From securing judgments to driving post-judgment enforcement—like garnishments and writs of seizure and sale—you’ll play a key role in turning challenging accounts into successful recoveries when standard collection efforts fall short.
What we look for: Solid understanding of how to read, prepare, review, and complete Small Claims Court documentation.
Proven ability to manage a high-volume caseload while meeting deadlines and procedural requirements.
Strong follow-up skills to ensure files progress efficiently through legal and enforcement stages.
Working knowledge of Small Claims Court rules, processes, and procedures.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Completion post-secondary education in a Paralegal or Law Clerk program; or 1+ year of relevant, equivalent work experience; or a combination of education and experience.
