DAVIDsTEA is a leading branded retailer and growing wholesaler of specialty loose leaf tea, offering a selection of signature blends, single-origin teas, and tea-related gifts and accessories through our e-commerce platform and 22 Canadian retail stores. We're looking for a Creative Studio Manager to join our team!


Reporting to the Chief Brand Officer, the Studio Manager will support our Creative Studio by managing the in-flow of projects within the Marketing department. This role works with various departments and individuals within DAVIDsTEA to ensure creative materials and resources flow through the company in a timely and efficient manner.

Responsibilities

  • Act as central point of contact for receiving projects from various internal departments;
  • Gather all pertinent information and requests and deadlines before checking with Marketing Leadership on how to dispatch to relevant teams and team members according to availability, workload, and expertise;
  • Coordinate the execution timelines, feedback and routing of all market collateral such as advertising and other creative projects;
  • Act as a liaison between Marketing and other internal departments to coordinate efficient and timely project processing;
  • Responsible for developing project schedules and communication on progress, maintaining workflow records, and routing projects for approval;
  • Working with organization to optimize use of project management tools that best suit the organization’s enhanced project needs.
  • Monitor the flow of materials and resources through to ensure timely delivery;
  • Troubleshoot issues that arise to ensure projects remain on schedule in order for deadlines to be met.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in Marketing and/or project coordination;
  • Ability to work full-time on site.
  • Undergraduate university degree or equivalent experience;
  • Bilingual (English and French);
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and project management skills;
  • Strong attention to detail;
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal;
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment;
  • Proactive approach and ability to anticipate problems and develop a plan of action to prevent delays in the workflow;
  • Team-oriented with the ability to work independently;
  • Ability to take detailed direction on project priorities and changing needs;
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office applications;
  • Retail experience an asset.
